No fair and free elections - TNA likely to withdraw their candidates from elections in the North !

Tamil National Alliance (TNA) M P. Sivajilingam told Lanka e news that , since there is no opportunity given for the TNA to contest the elections in the North in a fair and free manner, its candidates are going to withdraw from the fray.

The MP charged that , their candidates are unable to hold meetings and cannot go to houses on the election campaign , as the EPDP under the fold of the Anti Democratic Mahinda Regime and the security divisions are causing obstructions. So far nobody has been apprehended in the well and widely known infamous Alaveddy attack , and no culprit had been brought before the law , he regretted .

In these circumstances , if they are not being permitted to contest elections fairly and freely , the TNA candidates will be withdrawing their candidature on the 23rd , Sivajilingam observed.

Many political experts believe that if such a  thing is done by TNA, it will be a brave decesion. Other Main Parties, UNP and JVP too should follow the same procedure to kneel down this anti democratic regime who are taking the country to hell.
