Flairs: Better than Prince
Awesome hand drawn animation on this music video for Flairs.
This is the description of the process: "Handmade, 3000 paper sheets, a simple printer-computer & scanner trio, 7 black ink pencils, sometimes drawn in a Tokyo Hotel room, a Paris studio or on a Madonna video shoot in London, it's black & white simplicity suits the track like the best wedding possible...."

Apparently we might only have 100 months to save the World, so we better start doing something about it. Check the site here.

Blip.fm
I found about this one on W+K London's blog, it was a recommendation by Renny Gleeson (W+K Interact Strategy Director). It's one more of those web community, social gathering places. This one is great to find new music, and share songs you like. If you would like to check my selection, here is my invitation blip.fm/invite/akbsantos.

How We Met
I'm sure some of you, or even most of you have seen this cute stop motion animation. Anyway, if you haven't, watch it, if you have seen it before, watch it again. Very nice animation and with a great soundtrack by Son of Dave. It is actually a promotion for the Samsung G800, as you can find in the website "zoom in to see".

Political war: McCain vs Hilton
I'm not into politics and celebrities, but this just got into an interesting case.
McCain probably bought the wrong war. This will probably cost a few heads in their marketing department. Meanwhile, I might just propose Paris for a work placement in our creative department.

The End: Podcasts
This post is for the clubbers amongst you. The End is my favorite dance club in London, and it now has some great and free podcasts available. Don't know about you, but from time to time, I like to work to an energetic soundtrack.
If you like clubbing and don't know The End, if you have a chance, go there, I always had great nights there.
It's by Tottenham Court Road, so very easy to get there, by bus or tube.

The state of Art direction
Very interesting article on Creative Review's CR Blog, about the current "lack of quality" we currently see in Art Direction.
BBC School of Design
This is a great chance for anyone living in the U.K, who wants a boost in their career in Design, and who doesn't mind being under the watchful eyes of thousands (maybe millions?) of BBC viewers.

BBH: New Site
I, as probably most creatives, am a big fan of BBH. They just launched their new site. Worth a look, even if you're not interested in their work, the website is very clean, simple, and looks great.
Also, take a look at last years graduate recruitment advert. Very good acting by the ginger kid.
