UPFA Galle District Mp's openly criticize the Anti Democratic Family Goverment !

Parliamentarians representing the UPFA from the Galle District have come forward to openly criticize the anti democratic government as a result of the massive dissension growing within the anti democratic government against the Rajapaksas. These details have surfaced when a journalist had questioned these parliamentarians about the development activities in the Galle District.


Parliamentarian Ramesh Pathirana had said he had entered politics after giving up his job at Hayleys that paid him a monthly salary of Rs. 6 lakhs due to his faith in the promises given by the President. Nevertheless, Ramesh had said he was unable to even get a road built by his late father Richard Pathirana repaired.
 
Meanwhile, MP Nishantha Mutuhettigama has said that although he had worked fro the President's victory by selling his 25 acre tea estate, he did not have any provisions to help his supporters or the people in his area.
Senior Minister Piyasena Gamage had said that he was being continuously victimized by the President, who is angry over the religious activities organized by his sister against the injustice faced by her husband.


He said that when Basil Rajapaksa left the SLFP and worked with then Minister Gamini Dissanayake after joining the UNP, SLFP Leader at the time Sirimavo Bandaranaike never victimized Mahinda Rajapaksa fro Basil's actions.


Several other parliamentarians from the Galle District have also expressed their displeasure over the step motherly treatment meted out to the District. However, they have told the journalist that they were afraid to make any comments at the moment.
