Sri Lankan Leaders son gets 5 year broadcasting rights for Sri Lankan Premier League
Secretary of Sri Lanka Cricket Interim Committee Nishantha Ranatunge has agreed to give television and radio broadcasting rights of the Sri Lankan Premier League, which is to be held like the IPL in India, for five years to the Carlton Sports Network (CSN) owned by Yoshitha.
The lankan leader had issued prior notice to the heads of Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation and Derana not to bid for broadcasting rights.
The CSN sports network is telecasted on ITN under Yoshitha's girl friend Yasara Abeynayake. She once worked as the chief executive officer of the network, but the position is now held by the Sri Lanka Interim Committee Secretary Nishantha Ranatunge.
Singapore's Summerset Company is the orgainser of the SLPL
